McCoy, who had a stomach virus, returned to practice. Hillis, who sat out to rest a sore knee, was also back practicing. Coach Eric Mangini doesn't anticipate any problems in starting both players Sunday at home against the Baltimore Ravens. Had McCoy missed practice Thursday, it might have created a problem for Sunday. Coaches don't like to start a quarterback if he misses the important Wednesday and Thursday practices.
