| | Questionable callsDecember 19, 2010 - Mike McLainCINCINNATI -- It's early in the fourth quarter and Browns kicker Phil Dawson just kicked a 22-yard field goal to reduce the Bengals' lead to 16-10. Peyton Hillis was stopped for a short loss on a third-down play from the Bengals' 3. It was the same call that failed for the Browns in the same field position a week earlier in Buffalo. Apparently offensive coordintator Brian Daboll thinks that Hillis is the only player on offrense that he can depend upon. A quarterback sneak might have gotten the first down. Maybe a wide run instead of going off the right side would have worked. Another questionable call came late in the second quarter when the Browns decided to punt on fourth down from the Bengals' 39 instead of going for the end zone. Just 16 seconds reamined in the first half. Why not take a shot at a big play? This is not shaping up as a game that will help coach Eric Mangini's cause to save his job.
