| | Going to be a long day for the BobcatsSeptember 18, 2010 - Dana SulonenAll week, talk has been about the scare Ohio University gave Ohio State two seasons ago. If the first quarter of the game is an indicator of how the rest of the contest is going to go, it's going to be a long day for the Bobcats. On the second play of Ohio's day, a tipped pass from Phil Bates fell into the hands of Ohio State's Tyler Moeller. The turnover resulted in an Ohio State field goal. The bad luck continued for the Bobcats on the ensuing kick off when a 99-yard return touchdown from Julian Posey got called back after a penalty. Ohio's drive ended when Bates nearly got his head ripped off by a Ross Homan tackle. Eight plays later, the Buckeyes made their first trip to the end zone of the day. Ohio State's offense can't be stopped and the Silver Bullet defense is stifling the Bobcats. Ohio State is already starting to put in their backups (Joe Bauserman in now for Terrelle Pryor). It's going to be a long day for the Bobcats. Score after the first quarter: 17-0. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
