Twas the night before OSU...
September 1, 2010 - Dana Sulonen
And all through the state..
Many creatures were stirring, including me and you.
I know its not the best rhyme, or the most clever, but I'm so excited for this season that's the best I could come up with. I promise that for the future, I'll do much better.
But tomorrow night, Ohio State kicks off the much anticipated season against Marshall, and I for one, can't wait to see what this season has in store.
I began covering OSU last season, and along with my boss, Ed Puskas, will continue to cover the Buckeyes through a year that could result in a National Championship appearance.
Things that I'm looking forward to the most as the Buckeyes prepare on another quest to the biggest of all Bowl Games:
1. Will Terrelle Pryor finally come in to his own and become the force the Buckeyes always thought he could be?
2. How will the Buckeyes defense step up in the early part of the year? There are many old faces returning, like Brian Rolle, Chimdi Chekwa (who proabably has my favorite name of all time, cause frankly, it's just fun to say) and Cameron Heyward, but there are a lot of fresh faces that need to step up, and very quickly.
3. Week 2: The Miami game. I don't think I really need to explain this one. All I'll say is that it's going to make-or-break the season.
So here's to another year of Tressel-ball, Hang On Sloopy and O-H-I-O. Hopefully, come January, I'll be blogging from the National Championship Game.
