Jeff Dunham coming to Canfield Fair

The Canfield Fair is known for its wide selection of food on the midway. This year it looks like there will be some treats on the grandstand stage – as in a Peanut and a jalapeno on a stick

According to the Web sites of both Pollstar magazine and the performer, ventriloquist/comedian Jeff Dunham will be the Labor Day entertainment at this year’s Canfield Fair.

Dunham has a long history of performances in the Mahoning Valley. The old Funny Farm Comedy Club in Liberty was a regular stop for Dunham long after he’d moved up to bigger venues. Last year he played a sold out show at the Covelli Centre.

No word yet on ticket prices, but Dunham’s concert calendar says tickets will go on sale June 7.
