Catch Howland native on MTV tonight

Chris Zylka, a 2003 Howland High School grad, has a lead role in the movie “My Super Psycho Sweet 16,” which premieres at 10 p.m. tonight (Oct. 23) on MTV.

The horror movie is a bit of a spoof of the “My Super Sweet 16” reality series that runs on the former music channel. The movie tells the story of a pampered princess whose birthday party turns deadly, and Zylka plays the birthday’s girl’s ex.

It’s been a good year for Zylka. He was a regular on the ABC Family series “10 Things I Hate About You” and could be seen in the premiere episode of the Courteney Cox series “Cougartown.”
